Regal Paint Centers (RPC) is one of the largest Benjamin Moore Paint Dealers in the southeast United States. RPC was established in 1973 when it opened its first store in downtown Lake Worth, Florida.
The original owner, Neil Rasmussen, was an active painting contractor in the Palm Beach area at the time. The current owner, Steve Rasmussen, Neil`s oldest son, managed the business until the late 1980`s when he purchased the company from his father.
The original store, located at 305 N. Dixie Highway in Lake Worth, was moved to its current location at 201 S. Dixie Highway more than ten years ago. This location is also the site of the warehouse which supplies paint and sundry products to the other RPC stores. The Boca Raton Store was the second RPC Store, opening in 1993 and then followed by the Downtown West Palm Beach Store in 1996.
RPC now has eight locations throughout Palm Beach and southern Martin Counties with the corporate offices located in the Downtown WPB Store location. The store in Jupiter opened in 1999 followed four years later by the store in Juno Beach on U.S. Highway #1. The store on Jog Road in Greenacres was added in 2006. The two most recent stores added to RPC are located in Tequesta and Hobe Sound, both opening in 2007. One store in the West Palm Beach area, located on Okeechobee Boulevard, was permanently closed in 2009. All eight stores have been remodeled within the past three years and are Benjamin Moore Signature Stores. They are all staffed with highly-trained paint professionals and equipped with the latest displays and color matching technology so they can meet all of their customers' needs.
In addition to Benjamin Moore paint products, RPC also carry their own Regal Private Label brand of primers and quality interior and exterior acrylic paints. In addition, RPC locations also serve as local distributors for such manufacturers as: Coronado Paints, Richard`s Paint, Chemcraft, Polyvine and Texton. RPC also employs a highly-trained Technical Sales Group that specializes in Condominium, HOA, and Commercial/Retail painting projects. They have as their objective to exceed customer expectations by furnishing at No Cost: Project Evaluation with the property owner; Paint Specifications that are written and project- defined; Contractor Referrals for the bidding process; Inspections scheduled during painting for quality control; and a Material and Labor Warranty certified by Benjamin Moore.
